Obituary for Allen Benjamin Webb

Allen Benjamin Webb, 77, of 143 Elizabeth Street, Noxen, Pennsylvania, formerly of
Torrington, Connecticut, and Pittsfield, Massachusetts, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at
his home in Noxen.
Born in Pittsfield on July 18, 1938, a son of Benjamin and Ethelyn Allen Webb, he was
educated in Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He served in the United States Army.
Mr. Webb was employed by Pratt & Whitney in Southington, Connecticut, for thirty
years. He was a member of The American Legion.
He enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Webb leaves his wife, the former Eileen A. Provost, whom he married January 21, 1961.
He is also survived by a daughter, Diane White and her husband, James, of Noxen, Penn.; two sons, Jeffrey Webb and his wife, Jamie, of Burleson, Texas, and Douglas Webb and his wife, Debra, of Torrington, Conn.; two brothers, Bruce Webb and his wife, Dot, of Pittsfield, and David Webb, also of Massachusetts; a sister, Carol Post and her husband, Charles, of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, James White, Jr., a lieutenant with the United States Navy, Ryan
White, Travis Webb, Timothy Webb, Joshua Webb, Kristina Webb, and Samantha Webb; and
five great grandchildren, Devan, Allen, Nate, Damion, and Marissa.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Allen Benjamin Webb will be held Saturday, September 26, at 10:00 a.m., at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Noxen Community
Ambulance or to the Noxen Bible Baptist Church both in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54
Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
