Obituary for Allan R. Noble
Allan Robert Noble, 85, a longtime resident of Stockbridge, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at Cameron House in Lenox, where he had resided since 2009.
Born in Pittsfield on June 22, 1927, a son of Edmund and Lavina Fisher Noble,
he was educated in Stockbridge schools and was a graduate of Williams High School
in Stockbridege.
Mr. Noble was a self-employed plumber for twenty five years.
He had been a member of the Stockbridge Volunteer Fire Department.
He enjoyed fishing, radio control airplanes, and making dollhouses.
Mr. Noble's wife, the former Emily Jane Heisler, whom he married June 30, 1951, died December 22, 2008.
Mr. Noble is survived by two daughters, Holly Mahoney, of West Stockbridge, and Wendy Noble of West Stockbridge; four grandchildren, Emily, Clarice, Robert, and Madeline, and two great grandchildren, Brady and Benjamin; and a brother, Albert Noble
of Stockbridge.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A celebration of life for Allan and Emily Noble will be held in Stockbridge at a date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in The Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
