Obituary for Alice M. Chilcoat
Alice Mary Chilcoat, 80, of Pittsfield, passed away January 10, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut on December 27, 1942, she was the daughter of Nita Pugliese Kula.
Alice was educated in Hartford, Connecticut schools. She married Stuart D. Chilcoat on April 30, 1960. He predeceased her on August 3, 2001.
Mrs. Chilcoat was a homemaker and a foster parent for many years.
She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. For several years, Alice and her husband were a big part of a Waterbury Ct. bowling league. She was terrific at preserving memories with photos and shared every photo she could find. Her greatest love was her family and always looked forward to spending the holidays with them.
She is survived by her sons, Stuart I. Chilcoat and Fatima of Oakville, CT, and David J. Chilcoat and Corinne Catan of Pittsfield. Daughter, Lisa A. Archambeault and Thomas, Sr., of Pittsfield. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, January 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Cancer Center at BMC in care of the funeral home.
