Obituary for Aleeta Behnke Folmsbee

Aleeta Behnke Folmsbee, 88, formerly of Narragansett Avenue, Lanesboro, Ma. died Saturday at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield where she has resided since 2004. She was born on June 12, 1921 in Pittsfield. She was the wife of Irwin Folmsbee who died in 1976. A homemaker at onetime she was very active at the Senior Center of Lanesboro. She was a member of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Lanesboro. She is survived by a granddaughter, Terri M. Eckert of Bay Village, Ohio and by three great grandchildren, Grace, Anna and Holden Eckert. She was predeceased by her son, Edward C. Folmsbee.

Funeral Notice: A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 11:30 A.M. at Pittsfield Cemetery, those who are planning to attend may meet within the cemetery gate at 11:15 a.m. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield from 5 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to the Senior Center in Lanesboro in care of the funeral home.
