Obituary for Alan Frusciente

Alan Frusciente, 62, of 136 Daniels Avenue in Pittsfield passed away on August 18, 2016 at his home. Born on July 24, 1954 in Pittsfield, he was a son of Alice Pilson Frusciente of Peru and the late Martin Frusciente Sr. A Peru native, Alan had resided in Pittsfield for many years.
He was educated in Peru, Hinsdale and Dalton schools. He was a self-employed mason for many years. He also had worked at one time for the Town of Peru Highway Department, for Hunter Outdoor Products in North Adams and as a bartender at the Hinsdale Home Club and the former Coaches Corner in Pittsfield. Alan enjoyed motorcycles and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He also enjoyed playing blues music on his guitar. He leaves his mother, Alice Frusciente of Peru. A son; Adam Frusciente of California and a daughter; Angela Frusciente of California. Two brothers; Tony Frusciente and his wife Marge of Peru and Martin Frusciente Jr. of Peru. He also leaves his niece; Barbara Dewey and her husband William of Pittsfield as well as many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son; Eric Frusciente and by his brothers; Ted, Sammy and Gene.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A Graveside Service for Alan Frusciente who died August 18, 2016 will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at South Cemetery on Middlefield Road in Peru. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations in memory of Alan may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires in care of the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201 which is handling arrangements.
