Obituary for Agnes A. Mcdonald

Mrs. Agnes Ann Massimiano McDonald, 84, formerly of 4 Velma Avenue, Pittsfield, Ma. died Monday morning at Berkshire Place in Pittsfield where she has resided for the past year and a half. Born on February 27, 1923 in Pittsfield, Ma. a daughter of the late Ralph and Filomena Passero Massimiano. She attended schools in Pittsfield and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. McDonald had worked at the former Schaffer-Eaton Paper Company prior to her marriage. She was a communicant of Saint Teresa's Church and was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Her husband, Francis E. McDonald whom she married on October 6, 1945 died February 22, 2002. She leaves a daughter, Christine A. Bieniek of Lanesboro, Ma. and a son Daniel W. McDonald of Lee, Ma. A sister, Olga Gigante of Alexandria, Virginia. Four Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Agnes A. Massimiano McDonald who died October 8, 2007 will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 at 10:15 a.m. from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, Ma. followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. at Saint Teresa's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Mark Mengel SSC, pastor. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at Dery Funeral Home will be Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in her memory may be made to the Pittsfield Boy's & Girls Club in care of the funeral home. Mrs. McDonald is lovingly survived by her four grandchildren, Chelsea McDonald, Kimberly Gorman, Jennifer Belanger and Damon Bieniek and by her six great grandchildren.
