Donna Marie Petersen, 47, of Watervliet, NY, passed away June 16, 2019 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY.
She was born in Pittsfield on May 10, 1972, the daughter of Albert A. and Charlotte M. Ostrander Dowling, Sr.
She attended Pittsfield schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was married to Scott L. Petersen.
Mrs. Petersen was primarily a homemaker, and at one time she worked at Ames Department Store, Young’s Rest Home and County Ambulance as an EMT.
Her children were her greatest joy.
She leaves behind her husband, Scott Petersen; son, Gabriel Petersen; daughter, Hailey Petersen; five sisters, Linda M. Pinney, Debora M. Dowling, Susan M. Dowling, Jean M. Dowling and Joann M. Dowling. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and John Dowling.
