Obituary for Elaine G. Hugabone

Elaine Grace Hugabone, 87, of Fort Hill Avenue, Pittsfield, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Berkshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pittsfield on May 30, 1929, the daughter of John J. and Hilda Jones Fox, she was a graduate of Wahconah Regional High School.
Mrs. Hugabone was a homemaker. She had, at one time, worked at the former Big N
Department Store.
She enjoyed time spent with her family and grandchildren, as well as traveling, especially to New York City and Saratoga.
Her husband, Albert W. Hugabone, died February 22, 1981.
Mrs. Hugabone is survived by a daughter, Judith Carnevale, of Pittsfield; two sons,
Albert "Skip" Hugabone and his wife, Pamela, of Pittsfield, and their children, Jean Marie Hugabone and Betty Elaine Stevens; and stepchildren, Douglas Frank, Mark Frank, Carol Smith, and Linda Clark, and step grandchildren, Nicole Smith, Kayla Smith Booth, and Samantha Clark; and Bruce Hugabone and his wife, Kathleen, of Cheshire, and their childen, Jessica Hugabone Vinson and Ashley Hugabone Filler and grandchildren Darren Vinson and Mackenzie Filler, and several great grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Funeral services for Elaine G. Hugabone will be held Friday, March 31, at 1:00 p.m., at
DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield with Rev. Ralph G. Howe, Pastor of First United Methodist
Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for
Children in care of the Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
