Obituary for David Joel Hook
David Joel Hook, 77, formerly of 90 Orchard Street, Pittsfield, passed away April 8, 2018 at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility.
He was born April 5, 1941 in Pittsfield to the late Joseph G. and Elsie E. Hould Hook. He was a 1959 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
David worked as a custodian at the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club, with over 33 years of service.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed automobile refinishing. He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church. He also was a beloved member of the Boys and Girls Club Family.
David was the last of his immediate family.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service will be held Thursday April 19, 2018 at 1:30pm at St. Josephs Cemetery in Pittsfield. The omission of flowers is requested. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
