Jacqueline Joyce Briggs, 72, of 4 Second Avenue, Cheshire, died Wednesday, October 25,
2017, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in North Adams on April 9, 1945, the daughter of Edward T. Martin and Margaret
Barcomb Martin, she was a graduate of Drury High School and later graduated from the Mildred Elley School.
Mrs. Briggs had been employed by The Brien Center where she was an Accounting Clerk for twenty years.
Mrs. Briggs is survived by a daughter, Lisa J. Barnes (husband, Leroy) of Cheshire, and a son, Rodney K. Briggs of Cheshire; five grandchildren: Joshua Jarvis, Kassandra Jarvis, James
Jarvis, Jr., Savannah Barnes, and Skye Barnes.


FUNERAL NOTICE:
A memorial service for Jacqueline Joyce Briggs will be held Saturday, November 11, at
11:00 a.m., at the DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. William D. Furey officiating. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Funeral Home, P.O. Box 445, Cheshire.
