Obituary for Roberta J. Crennan

Roberta Jean Crennan, 55, of 28 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday May 30, 2017. Born in Pittsfield on May 23, 1962 she was the daughter of Robert A. Crennan and the former Carol E. Wright. She was educated in local schools and attended Pittsfield High School.

Roberta was most recently employed as a short order cook and prior to that she worked for a cleaning service that was responsible for cleaning local restaurants.

She enjoyed playing pool, art, attending Pittsfield Sun’s Baseball games; she was an avid football fan of the San Francisco 49ers and a baseball fan of the Baltimore Orioles.

She is survived by her mother; Carol E. Wright of Pittsfield, her brothers; Paul D. Crennan of Pittsfield, Jerry S. Scott and his wife Laura of Pittsfield and her sister; Audrey Crennan, her nieces Ashley Scott and Alexis Scott both of Pittsfield, and her beloved feline companion Sassy.

She was predeceased by her father; Robert A. Crennan and her brother; Richard S. Crennan.
Funeral Services – A memorial service for Roberta A. Crennan who died May 30, 2017 will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Roberta’s memory can be made to Berkshire Animal Dreams: Advocates for Community Cats in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements.
